Réactions du ministère belge des Affaires étrangères, de Brussels Airlines et du groupe Lufthansa face à la montée des tensions au Moyen-Orient

Brussels Airlines and the entire Lufthansa Group have extended the suspension of their flights to Tel Aviv until at least August 12 due to ongoing security concerns in the Middle East.

This decision comes in the wake of recent violence in Lebanon and Iran, including the assassination of leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas, raising fears of further escalation. Passengers whose flights have been canceled can request refunds or reschedule their travel.

Meanwhile, the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Belgians in Lebanon to leave the country immediately, aligning with advisories from the United States, France, and the United Kingdom. Sweden has closed its embassy in Beirut and many airlines have halted flights to Lebanon. The ministry also advises against travel to Israel and the Palestinian territories, citing increased rocket attacks from Hezbollah in southern Lebanon amid heightened regional tensions.
